Curriculum
Sébastien MENDES-GIL began his legal career in 1993 as an Associate at the Conseil d’Etat and the Cour de Cassation where he was in charge of economic cases, and more specifically, those in connection with banking law, consumer rights, competition and insurance issues.
In 1999 he went on to work at a law firm specialising in business, real property and social law.
A founding partner of the Firm in 2001, Sébastien MENDES-GIL now directs the economic law litigation activities. He therefore pleads before all national and European judicial courts or arbitration tribunals, as well as before the independent public and administrative authorities.
He is a certified mediator with the Paris Centre of Mediation and Arbitration (CMAP), the CNMA (National Centre for Attorney Mediation), the PARIS Court of Appeal and is registered on the European Union list as a consumer mediator.
After having taught at Université de Paris-I, Sébastien MENDES-GIL taught classes as a lecturer at Sciences-Po Paris. He also prepared candidates for the Bar School entry exam for 15 years and regularly leads training courses in banking law, real property law and at Institut 131 for future mediators.
